OOTD: Thrifty Thursday

Hello everyone! After an extended period of absence, I’m back! I know, I know, it seriously feels like it’s been forever! With my summer job at the pool (I’m working as a lifeguard at the pool I worked at in high school and college until I find a job!), I have been super busy and have had barely any time to sleep and eat, let alone chat with all of you lovelies. It’s been rough ladies and gents, that I can promise… I’ve missed y’all so much, but I am going to do my best to stay on top of everything for the rest of summer, even if I am running in a bunch of different directions!

But, getting back to business… I just want to jump right back into things and hit the ground running! So, with that being said, we have a fabulous little ensemble for today’s Thrifty Thursday OOTD.

Outfit Of The Day - Thrifty Thursday

Dress: Vero Moda, $41; Shoes: Miss Selfridge$68 $44; Necklace: ALDO$18 $15;

Bracelets: Aqua Snake$35 $25; Earrings: Stella & Dot, $24.

With summer in full swing at this point, this super fun orange dress paired with an amazing pair of wedges is really one of your best bets for any activity! The best part is, this outfit is super versatile and can easily be tweaked to fit whatever you may be doing! If you’re hitting a family barbecue or hitting the town for an afternoon of shopping, swap out the wedges for a simple sandal and then slip into the wedges for your evening activities!

But, the best part about this outfit, you ask? Everything is under $50! Who would’ve thought you could have an awesome little outfit like this at such an affordable price?! Well, it’s true ladies! What do you think about this OOTD? Do you have any other suggestions for an affordable and versatile outfit? Let us know what you think in the comments below or shoot me an email at kristen.booth06@gmail.com! I’d love to know what y’all are thinking!

Good Morning Darling!

Happy Thursday lovely ladies! I hope you’re having a wonderful morning so far, and your day is getting off on the right foot! I don’t know about you guys, but I could not be more ready for Spring to actually start… I know it officially began last week, but with snow earlier this week, it just hasn’t felt like Spring yet! So, in hopes of having this be the end of the cold weather, this week’s Thrifty Thursday is a super fun springtime outfit!

Outfit Of The Day - Thrifty Thursday

Top: Only, $23; Pants: Mango, $33; Shoes: DV by Dolce Vita$89 $44 (ON SALE NOW!); Bag: H&M, $41;  Watch: TOPSHOP, $50; Necklace: ALDO, $18; Bracelet: Wallis Fashion$21 $18 (ON SALE NOW!); Earrings: Body Central, $4.

Perfect for so many occasions, you could easily wear this outfit for a day of shopping and lunch with the girls or even a date night with someone special.  I cannot wait for warmer weather so I can start wearing outfits like this one again… My favorite part of Spring/Summer is wedges, and I cannot wait to finally be able to wear them (they’re just so cute and so comfortable!).

What do you think of today’s outfit of the day?! Do you love wedges as much as I do? What’s your favorite part of Spring/Summer? Let me know in the comments below, and have a lovely day ladies!

Good morning, gorgeous!

Hello there and happy Thursday my loves! As I’m sure many of you are already wondering, “What’s up with this Thrifty Thursday I’m seeing…?” I have decided to change a few things around, and make Thursdays now Thrifty Thursday, and Friday will then change to For Your Face Friday (instead of our current Wallet Friendly Friday).  I have been getting requests for some more posts about beauty products and make-up ideas, so that is why the change has been made! Keep the suggestions flowing, y’all! I love hearing what you have to say!

But, for our first ever Thrifty Thursday we have an amazing little ensemble that is perfect for this time of year.  With the weather changing drastically from day to day (one day it’s 70 degrees and sunny, and then the next we’re getting a foot of snow… Literally!) it is so hard to know how to dress and what is “seasonally appropriate.” Well this outfit works for both a cold winter’s day and a cool sunny early spring afternoon! So, without further ado, here is our first of many Thrifty Thursday‘s to come.

Outfit Of The Day - Thrifty Thursday

Top: American Eagle Outfitters, $50; Pants: Mango, $40; Shoes: Nine West, $80; Bracelet: Emations, $20; Watch: Fossil$95 $60 (ON SALE NOW!); Earrings: Lucky Brand$15 $9 (ON SALE NOW! )

Do you love this outfit or what?! I cannot wait until it is finally springtime, and sunny, and warm, and a time when I don’t have to make sure I am up early enough to have time to start my car 20 minutes before I have to leave my house because it is so unbelievably cold.  I am also absolutely ecstatic about the fact that the days of below freezing temperatures are limited (for this year at least…), and sandal, shorts, dress, and wedge weather is upon us! Ah, these are my favorite things ever, so naturally I am so excited that I can’t stop thinking about it! But, the one plus about still having some colder days left? BOOTS! I absolutely love boots, and these Nine West boots happen to be one of my all time favorites! I tried so hard to find them in my size all winter, and for some reason I was never able to get my hands on these beauties, but you better believe I will have my eyes peeled until I have them in my hands (even if it’s 20 years down the road when I will call them “vintage” to make myself feel better…)!

But, I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday, and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for our first ever For Your Face Friday!

OOTD: Wallet Friendly Friday

Hello there, and happy Friday everyone! I hope you are all having a fabulous Friday so far, and you’re getting ready for the weekend! I know I most certainly am… I am coming home this weekend, and I cannot wait to see my family! Next week is my spring break (yeah, I know… I don’t get to go anywhere fun. What a bummer, right?!), and I am excited to just get to come home, spend time with my family, and relax a little bit! With graduation coming quickly, I have been stressing about jobs (applying, interviewing, actually getting one…) a lot lately, so I want to come home and take this week to just step away from it all and relax a little!

But, enough about me… This week’s Wallet Friendly Friday is super cute! It’s the perfect outfit for a night on the town, and with the unseasonably warm weather we’ve been having lately, I figured it was the perfect way to kick off this Friday and get everyone excited and motivated for the fun activities that will occur this weekend.  So, here ya go ladies… Wallet Friendly Friday:

Outfit Of The Day - Wallet Friendly Friday

Top: Dorothy Perkins, $44; Pants: H&M, $33; Shoes: Forever 21, $33; Bag: Mango, $90, Bracelet: C. Wonder$58 $45; Earrings: Debenhams$15 $12.

Does that make you want to go out, or what? Getting dressed is always one of the hardest parts of going out for me (I just never know what to wear!), but when I finally figure it out or when I have an awesome outfit that I am excited to wear, I am always so pumped to hit the town with my friends! I don’t know if you are anything like me, in that regard, but this is definitely an outfit that would make me want to go downtown with the ladies for the evening!

I hope you all have a wonderful evening, and a great weekend! Do you have any awesome plans? What do you think of this outfit? Anything else? Let me know by commenting below!

Good morning ladies… We finally made it to Friday! After what seems like one of the longest weeks ever, we have finally made it to Friday! But… enough about that boring stuff! This week’s Wallet Friendly Friday is the perfect little ensemble to rock for a night on the town with the girls or even a date night with a handsome fella that you may have picked up this week (or whenever!). I have them and they are absolutely amazing, and I have gotten so many compliments on them like they were some of my Nordstrom heels that cost an arm and a leg! Trust me ladies, they are most definitely worth the small investment… They’re awesome!

Good Morning Beautiful!

Happy Friday ladies! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday week and you enjoyed your time off with your friends and family.  I also hope that you got to do at least a little bit of relaxing in the midst of all the holiday chaos!  My home was no exception this week, and it was busy as can be! On top of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, yesterday (the day after Christmas…) was my birthday! So every year in an attempt to make it a big deal and really distinguish my birthday from Christmas, my mom takes off from work and we do all kinds of fun things! But, enough about me… Getting back on track, this week’s Wallet Friendly Friday is an awesome little legging outfit paired with an amazing sweater/tunic from H&M.  This one is also a little special to me (well, and my mom…) becuause my mom got this shirt yesterday when we were shopping! She was a little hesitant becuase she wasn’t sure if it would look good with leggings, so I decided what better way to show her how cute it will be with leggings and boots than to make it this week’s Wallet Friendly Friday! So, here you go mama, this one’s for you…

Being the last one before Christmas break with my roommates, it is going to be a good one! But, before we get to the weekend we have to get through today (for me that means hours upon hours in the library and then hitting the gym… I know, I know, its a fun life I lead!).  So, with that being said, here is this week’s Wallet Friendly Friday

Wallet Friendly Friday Round 2…

Save vs. Splurge…

With sweater season arriving quickly, I have been doing a little bit of online shopping the past few days. I found this Marc Jacobs sweater and fell in love with it, but I knew that if I bought this $315 sweater my parents would kill me! So instead, I kept on going without adding that perfect cream sweater that every girl needs to my shopping cart (talk about self control…)!  But, then a few hours later (when I was avoiding studying for my exam again…), I found myself looking at a sweater that looked almost identical to this dream sweater I had previously found… The difference, you wonder? This new sweater I was looking at was from H&M and, at only $24, was a fraction of the price! This, I decided, is definitly something I can afford and also justify buying… The way I see it, big, warm, comfy sweaters are like a good pair of leggings, you can never have too many and the never go out of style!

Outfit Of The Day - Wallet Friendly Friday - Budget Babe

Happy Friday ladies! I hope you have an awesome weekend and that you are able to find some amazing deals like the one I stumbled upon this week!
