OOTD: Wallet Friendly Friday

Good Morning Beautiful!

Happy Friday ladies! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday week and you enjoyed your time off with your friends and family.  I also hope that you got to do at least a little bit of relaxing in the midst of all the holiday chaos!  My home was no exception this week, and it was busy as can be! On top of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, yesterday (the day after Christmas…) was my birthday! So every year in an attempt to make it a big deal and really distinguish my birthday from Christmas, my mom takes off from work and we do all kinds of fun things! Just like every year, my birthday was fabulous and I had an fantastic day with my family!

But, enough about me… Getting back on track, this week’s Wallet Friendly Friday is an awesome little legging outfit paired with an amazing sweater/tunic from H&M.  This one is also a little special to me (well, and my mom…) becuause my mom got this shirt yesterday when we were shopping! She was a little hesitant becuase she wasn’t sure if it would look good with leggings, so I decided what better way to show her how cute it will be with leggings and boots than to make it this week’s Wallet Friendly Friday! So, here you go mama, this one’s for you…

Super Savings Saturday: Fab Finds For $50 Or Less!

Happy Saturday Beauties!

I hope you are all having an awesome weekend so far! Just like every other girl at JMU (or “biddie” as many people like to call the female population of JMU), one of my favorite ensembles in the colder months is an oversized top of some sort paired with leggings and boots.  I just feel like you really cannot go wrong with this type of outfit when you are going to campus for a full day of classes or a long library session! With that being said, I have found 6 super chic sweaters along with 6 plaid flannel tops (these bad boys are all the rave this season!)… and they’re all either $50 or less… what more could you want?!

No matter what your reason is for “needing” some new tops like I do, here are a ton of options that will not break the bank and are perfect for this winter! They are not only chic and stylish, but they are all so comfy and “in” this season. Just take a walk through JMU’s campus… chances are at least every other girl who walks by you will be wearing either one of these tops or something very similar.

I hope you ladies are having a wonderful Saturday and are getting your weekend off to a great start! Bored on this chilly Saturday? Have no plans for Sunday? Hit the shops and get some new tops… who’s to stop you?! It’s not like you’re going to blow your budget!

OOTD: Wallet Friendly Friday

Happy Friday Beauties!!!

It’s finally here… The weekend is upon us and there is so much to be happy about! With fall in full swing now, I figured what better way to do this week’s Wallet Friendly Friday, than with an amazing sweater and boot combination that is perfect for any day, and also won’t break the bank! As I may have mentioned a few time… (hehe) sweaters and boots are my favorite part of the colder months! Being a summer girl myself, I am not a huge fan of the winter (I am just always so cold!), but the big, comfy, oversized sweater trend has definitely given me something to look forward to the past few years when the colder days start coming around!  So now, this week’s Wallet Friendly Friday

Outfit Of The Day - Wallet Friendly Friday

Top:  American Eagle Tunic Sweater – ae.com, $55 $50

Pants: H&M Skinny Low Jeans – hm.com, $32

Shoes: Steve Madden Craave Boots – zappos.com, $100

Bag: ALDO Frattapolesine – aldoshoes.com, $50

Necklace: Monsoon Naina Neckace – monsoon.co.uk, $38

Rings: Orelia 5 Row Mixed Plate Ring Set – johnlewis.com, $29

Watch: Eliza Chunky Chain Watch – boohoo.com, $30

Earrings: Lucky Brand Large Spike Stud Earrings – luckybrand.com, $19

What’s not to love?! I don’t think I have ever met anyone who doesn’t love a good sweater with some awesome boots!

This weekend my sister, Danielle, is coming to visit me for JMU‘s Homecoming Weekend! I am so excited and cannot wait to see her! She graduated from her undergrad (with a degree with Psychology) in 2011 – right after my freshman year – but stayed for another year and went to graduate school (with a MAT in Early Childhood Special Education).  So, the past two years have been so weird without her here after having my first two years with her! Going from seeing her everyday (having dinner together, having a permanent gym buddy, etc.), to barely seeing her once a month has been really weird for the both of us! The one thing I am looking forward to about graduating and going to live at home for a little while (hopefully not too long… I want to be employed eventually!) is that I get to have my best friend back!

Anyway, now that I have just rambled for 5 minutes… I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I hope you have some fun Halloween festivities planned!
