OOTD: Workout Wednesday

Good morning and happy Wednesday, gorgeous! I hope you’re having a fabulous week so far, but if you need a little extra motivation to help get you through the second half of the week, hopefully today’s OOTD will do just that (if not, you only have two more days after today, so that should help too!).  Today’s Workout Wednesday post is just the type of ensemble that gets me motivated and ready to hit the gym. As I have mentioned about a thousand times in the past, I have a (slight) addiction to buying workout clothes. And then I feel like if I have spend that much money on these clothes that I cannot wear to work or out on the weekends (if only it was socially acceptable to wear workout clothes to the bar…), I need to make the investment worth while and hit the gym! Plus, I just feel super lazy if I wear gym clothes all day and don’t at least go for a little while! But, back to the point… This outfit is the perfect example of something that would get me moving and motivated to get my booty to the gym! But, I won’t keep ya in suspense any longer, I know you’re dying to check out this ensemble that I am raving about so here it is!

As I’ve also mentioned a time or two (and if you look through previous Workout Wednesday posts, you can probably realize on your own), I am most certainly partial to Nike products. I am not sure why, but I definitely gravitate to Nike when given the option! But, was I right or what?! Do you feel like you should immediately run to the Nike store or Dicks and buy this outfit and then hit the gym for a nice, long gym session? I know I most certainly do, but now that I’m trying out this whole “adult” thing, and I have a “real job” where I have to work everyday, unfortunately I can’t do that right now. However, if you can, I would highly recommend it! There is no time like the present, and the longer you wait the more time you have to lose motivation and/or talk yourself out of working out. Plus, the best workout is in the morning, right?

Well, I envy anyone who is able to run to the gym right now, but I hope y’all have a wonderful workout! And for those of you who are stuck in the office like I am, I hope you have a fabulous day! But don’t forget, just because you have a long day at work doesn’t mean you can’t stop and get a quick workout in on your way home. Or, if you’re really too tired or busy to go to the gym, there is no shame in doing an at home workout! You’re obv gorgeous the way you are, I’m just trying to give ya a little extra push and keep ya healthy! Have an amazing day, skinny minnies! And don’t forget that I love you beauties!

OOTD: Workout Wednesday

Good morning and happy Wednesday beauty queens! I hope you are all ready for a great (and rainy, yet again…) Wednesday! Today is my last college class ever, and I am so excited (and terrified all at the same time)! Being the last day of classes, that means that summer is soo close… Which means that you only have a few more days to get your bikini bod in shape. With bathing suit season practically here, I just want to make sure you are all in the best shape ever and you’re ready to show off your goodies at the pool, beach, wherever this summer!

But, since it has been a little chilly and super rainy lately, this week’s Workout Wednesday is accommodating for such.  So [finally], here’s this week’s Workout Wednesday:

Don’t let your body ruin anything this summer by making you self conscious… Do what you can now to make your summer as fun as possible!

Have a great Wednesday gorgeous, hit the gym and make sure your diet is in the right spot to help you achieve your goal too… After all, abs are made in the kitchen!

OOTD: Workout Wednesday

Hello there beautiful! I hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday so far, and hopefully your weather is warmer than mine is… But if not, hopefully you’re at least staying warm! As I told you all last week, my sister and I finally decided to pick the race and set the date for the half marathon we’ve been talking about doing for the past year (which will be in September… AHH!).  So, while our training hasn’t technically started yet (we’re doing a 12-week training program), I am definitely doing everything I can to get in shape as much as possible starting now! So, with that, these Workout Wednesday outfits are going to start becoming very real in my life, and I am going to try and post outfits that I actually have/I’m looking to get so I can give you a little more info on the different pieces! So, this week’s Workout Wednesday is really springy and fun, and is something I’ve definitely been eyeing lately!

I don’t know about you, but that outfit makes me want to go for a run… Thank goodness (hopefully it actually makes me follow through, too!).  But, a quick gym run is all you need, ladies. You don’t have to spend hours upon hours there, even if you only have time for a quick 30 minute cardio session… It’s better than doing nothing! Don’t keep putting it off, get your skinny booties to the gym!

What better inspiration to hit the gym than the upcoming holiday season? I know it is a busy time of year for everyone (especially this week…) but this time of the year is one of the most important times to make sure you aren’t skipping any gym sessions! It is so easy to lose sight of your goals and progress with the holiday season coming, putting off the gym until January with all of the other New Year’s Resoultioners, but that is not the way to go, ladies! Trust me, you will regret this! So, take a half hour out of your day and hit the treadmill (or whatever machine you like to frequent!) With that being said… this week’s Workout Wednesday:

One Of My All-Time Favorite Treadmill Workouts!

We all know that intervals are the best way to lose weight (burn fat) while increasing your endurance at the same time… However, I know that personally, I am not all that fond of them! When I go for a run, I like to just set my pace and incline and go, if I think about it along the way I may change the speed or incline and I may not. It is my time to clear my mind, and in a way “relax” (I know… I sound crazy!). But, in an effort to tone up a little and increase my endurance, I have been trying out some interval workouts! So far, this one has been the hardest hands down! But, I actually really liked it! And, I definitely felt like I accomplished something HUGE when I was done! Here it is, I really encourage you to try it out and let me know what you think!
